Booking Policy
1. Booking Deposit;
- A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required to secure any service with Medicosmetics.
- For larger services such as PDO threads and appointments exceeding 1 hour, a $50 non-refundable fee is required.
2. Consultation Requirement
- An initial full consultation is mandatory for all cosmetic medical aesthetic appointments. This includes:
- A comprehensive medical and cosmetic consultation to discuss the procedure.
- Screening for body dysmorphia and thorough analysis of treatment options.
- Explanation of the procedure, realistic outcomes, and achievable results.
- Pre-treatment and post-treatment information.
- Under Australian law, anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and collagen injectables are classified as Schedule 4 medications. Each treatment requires a prescription, obtainable through our clinic via a Telehealth scripting service or from our onsite cosmetic doctors, in compliance with AHPRA guidelines and TGA requirements.
- A signed consent form is required for each treatment.
3. Separate Consultation and Deposit Requirement:
- Each new treatment requires a separate consultation and deposit.
- If treatments are administered on separate dates/times, an additional $25 deposit may be required.
4. Guidelines Compliance:
- Medicosmetics Clinic follows guidelines composed by management of our parent company, MLG Brands Pty Ltd, and our prescribing doctors, ensuring adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
Cancellation Policy:
1. Deposit Terms
- The $25 non-refundable deposit is applicable toward the treatment the patient is consulted for.
2. Cancellation Notice:
- Changes to appointments can be made up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty.
- Changes made between 24 and 12 hours before the appointment may incur a 25% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations or changes with less than 12 hours notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- No-show appointments or cancellations made with less than 3 hours notice will require payment of the full treatment cost.
3. Cancellation Refunds and Charges:
- If a service provider cancels the whole booking, the reservation fee/deposit may be credited back to the payment method used at the time of booking.
- Partial cancellations on the clinic's part will not impact the reservation/deposit.
4. Late Arrival Policy:
- If you fail to arrive by the agreed appointment time, Medicosmetics reserves the right to charge the credit card or other payment method the balance of the appointment cost (after deducting any deposit fee/reservation already paid).
5. Group Bookings:
- For group bookings, if any member of the group fails to arrive on time, the total booking value for the absent persons may be charged (after deducting any deposit fee/reservation already paid) according to the clinic’s terms and conditions.
Liability:
- Medicosmetics does not accept responsibility for cancellations by the user or the service provider, regardless of circumstances. Liability for any losses, additional expenses, or claims due to schedule changes, sickness, weather, strikes, or other causes will lie with the patient, unless previously agreed between the patient and the service provider.
This policy ensures that Medicosmetics provides a reliable and consistent service while accommodating necessary adherence to professional guidelines and acknowledging that unexpected situations can arise.
